Built as a small guesthouse in the 1967, the beginnings of the hotel were about providing hospitality. As tourists discovered the beauty of Santorini, the hotel saw growth in additional buildings and an expanded location. Undergoing an extensive modernization and renovation in the early 2000’s, the hotel is proud of its history while maintaining a stylish and contemporary facility.
Embracing the beach life look, the Sigalas Hotel appears clean and breezy from every angle. Open air design and the traditional white walls with blue accents are punctuated with greenery by way of preserved trees dotting the courtyard and surrounding the buildings. This feels less like a hotel and more like a home.
The main attraction here is the water. There is a beautiful lending library so grab a good book and head outdoors. The pool is fresh water so you can soak and swim in luxury just feet from the sea. The Double Room and Superior Double Room are great accommodations that will have you living the beach life in no time. The Suite has a separate living room and a second sleeping space. The “On the Beach Suite” is an open floorplan that accommodates up to four but has a fantastic veranda that may have you reluctant to leave your suite and see much else. Apartments are available as well, from the Studio, to the One Bedroom, the ungraded Superior Sea View One Bedroom and the Superior Sea View Two Bedroom. The Sea View Maisonette is the pinnacle of a luxury getaway with four bedrooms, two bathrooms split over a two story private residence.
